What you will need: BuyDisplay 240圆4 in the color of your choice.ĭo not get the 2x11 pin header soldered onto your display from the factory because you want an IDC connector not a pin header on the display. In this MPC X, MPC One & MPC Live tutorial we’ll quickly put together a realistic sounding MPC ‘cycle’ kit that uses round robins to emulate the subtle timbre variations found in acoustic instruments like drums. And as previously stated in this thread, desoldering the old display cable is doable but muuuch harder than you think it will be and not worth the hassle when making a new cable is so incredibly cheap. Also there is literally 0% chance of bricking your MPC 1000/2500 by doing this mod, although you may brick your "buydisplay" if you connect everything up wrong, but even then that chance is small because these displays are pretty resilient. I haven't seen this here yet, so I figured I'd transplant the tutorial to make it easier to find. I’m just trying to chop samples with my akai force. Not super complex, but a little more involved than just plugging the new one in. There's a great writeup on doing this upgrade on a budget.
